Stand G11
Smart Buildings Show 2019 promises to be bigger and better than ever, with more stands, conference presentations and visitors than ever before.
Attendance for the 2018 show was up 45 per cent with visitors coming from all over the UK and Europe. John Hatcher, conference director, commented, "We had a great exhibition and conference, with the theatres at full capacity for both days. There is clearly a thirst for knowledge in the smart buildings industry and we will be adding an additional theatre this year."
This year the show will be moving to Olympia, London on 9-10 October 2019 to accommodate the increased footfall and more exhibitors.
Claire Hatchett, sales manager said, "We have already booked more stands and space than last year. We anticipate selling all the available stands, so if you are thinking of exhibiting please contact me as soon as possible. Smart Buildings Show 2019 promises to be our biggest and best event yet.”
What to expect
Smart Buildings Show connects visitors to the latest information and technology in the smart buildings industry.
We will give visitors the information they need to arrive at an informed decision on how to make their intelligent buildings more economic for owners and more functional for occupiers. Smart Buildings Show will take place at Olympia, London on 9-10 October 2019.
Smart buildings deliver services that make occupants productive at the lowest cost and environmental impact over the building lifecycle.
To do this requires adding intelligence from the design phase through to the end of the building's useful life. Smart buildings use information technology during operation to connect subsystems, which typically operate independently, so that these systems can share information to optimize total building performance.
Smart Buildings Show 2019 will cover all key aspects of creating and managing a smart building, including;
-
- Building automation systems
- Energy efficiency
- Lighting and controls
- Security
- HVAC
- Smart meters and monitoring
- Networks and wireless
- Software
- Services and support
- Building automation and design
- Building energy management
- Regulations and consultancy
- Workplace and wellbeing
Company Profile
Project Haystack is a non-for-profit open-source initiative run by its members since 2014, established with the purpose of educating the building automation market about semantic tagging and data modelling. Project Haystack engages in educational activities and is focused on developing semantic modelling solutions for data related to smart devices, including building equipment systems, automation and control devices, sensors and sensing devices.
As the IoT becomes more prevalent, data management is becoming more and more central to those responsible for the efficient and productive operation of building portfolios. There is so much data available from today's building systems and related applications, that the organisation of such data is of critical importance. Project Haystack is the most widely used open standard that seeks to address this issue.
All work developed by the Project Haystack community is provided for use as open source software under the Academic Free License 3.0. Anyone is free to participate as long as contributed IP is licensed under the AFL. This ensures that Haystack IP is open and freely available for any commercial use.
