Project Haystack

Project Haystack recently held its biennial conference, Haystack Connect. The conference is known for the quality of its technical program, which is driven by the Project Haystack community. This year’s event featured 30 presentations divided into three tracks.

The program was divided into three tracks. Track 1, Haystack in Practice, explored real world applications of Haystack tagging. Track 2 was the technical track. Track 3, “Pitchfest”, showcased new products and services utilizing Haystack technology.

Richmond, VA –  April 30, 2021 – The Project Haystack Organization (www.project-haystack.org), a collaborative community addressing the challenge of utilizing semantic modeling and tagging to streamline the interchange of data among different systems, devices, equipment and software applications, today announced the publication of the ninth issue of their Connections Magazine.

Haystack Connect 2021

The Haystack Connect 2021 conference and exhibition, our 5th biennial event, will take place virtually May 4-6, 2021. The website is live, registration is open, and sponsorships are available at www.haystackconnect.org!

Haystack Connect provides a unique, open-forum for professionals involved in automation, control and the Internet of Things to learn and share the latest technologies and techniques for connecting systems and utilizing device data in applications including intelligent buildings, energy management, remote monitoring, and other IoT devices and applications.

In celebration, Project Haystack is excited to announce that the 10th Anniversary Connections Magazine is in development and is issuing a Call for Advertisers from the community that provides Haystack-compatible products and solutions around the world. It is scheduled to be published in April 2021. Connections Magazine, published bi-annually, documents how the Project Haystack community is applying or implementing the Haystack Tagging methodology in the building and facilities management industry. Facility owners, operators, managers and service companies recognize that a standardized approach to semantic data modeling is key to overcoming the hurdles related to effectively using the data produced by the built environment.
